Brennan J. Clarkson
Divorce and Family Law Counsel
Brennan J. Clarkson studied psychology at the University of British Columbia and studied law at the University of Alberta. He had the good fortune of being taught civil procedure by the Honourable Mr. Justice Brown before he was appointed a judge of the Supreme Court of Canada. From 2006 to 2008 he served as an editor of the Alberta Law Review.
After Brennan graduated in 2008, he practised under a prominent lawyer who was an MLA and Law Society bencher. Brennan received a Certificate of Recognition from Legal Aid in 2010.
Since returning to British Columbia in 2012, Brennan has supervised trials run by UBC’s Law Students’ Legal Advice Program. He also lectures in the community about legal issues. He has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia as well as represented clients at mediations and arbitrations.
Brennan is proud to call the Tri-Cities his home. In 2019, he ventured out to start his own practice, focusing on providing family law services to clients in Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge.
